I have requested the remaining program dates from the Contractor completing the works around our school – SPA (Stabilised Pavements Australia). If weather permits please see below:
Road Works Schedule
09/02/2018
Trimming and Spray Sealing works at the Campbell St / Waugh St / Young St Intersection. Spray Sealing planned in afternoon.
10/02/2018
Planned Asphalt Placement to Young St and above Intersection adjacent to the School. Works completed on Saturday to take advantage of low traffic day due to non-school day.
12/02/2018 – 16/02/2018
Grader Trimming of road and final rolling works ready for seal – Waugh / Johnston/ Mackay / Cowdery Streets.
16/02/2018
Planned Spray Sealing Day for Waugh / Johnston/ Mackay Streets.
19/02/2018 – 20/02/2018
Grader Trimming of road and final rolling works ready for seal – Graham / Cowdery/ Webb Streets.
21/02/2018
Planned Spray Sealing Day for Graham / Cowdery / Webb Streets.
The spray seal planned will be the final coats of bitumen sealing for these roads – so a further follow up visit will not be required in this instance.
Final line marking works will not take place until approx. 4 weeks after final seal dates – to allow the bitumen seal to cure before lines are placed to ensure the longevity of the linemarking.
During the works – the SPA team has been in contact with the bus companies to ensure that bus access through the works is maintained at all times. Additionally care has been taken to ensure that parent access to the school during the peak morning and afternoon periods has been maintained.
