School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Our school event may include:

performances, concerts or school productions

2026 Students Return

Date: Monday 2 February

All students, K to 6, will commence the 2026 school year on Monday 2 February.

Year 1 – 6 students are to arrive from 8:30am onwards. Years 1-3 go to infants silver seat area whilst Years 4 - 6 go to the primary silver seats. Our new Kindergarten students will start arriving at staggered times from 10:00am and enter through the front gate where staff will direct you to the correct classroom. Please note Kindergarten will be picked up at the slightly earlier time of 2:45pm to avoid the rush and get our youngest students into a safe routine. We ask that new students in Years 1 to 6 arrive from 9:30am so we can take you straight to the classrooms, so you have the best start possible. Come to the front office where WPS staff will be ready to support and guide you.

School Uniform Shop

Dates: Saturday 17 January - 10:00am - 2:00pm

Friday 30 January - 12:00pm - 3:00pm

Uniforms will be available for purchase on Saturday 17 January 2026 between 10:00am and 2:00pm. It will then be open on Friday 30 January between 12:00pm and 3:00pm. Then between 2:00pm and 3:00pm every Monday to Thursday from 2 February.

Swimming Carnival - Years 3-6

Date: Thursday 5 February

For the swimmers, our Years 3-6 swimming carnival is booked for Thursday 5 February. It will be a quick turnaround for permission notes and parent volunteers.
