Intensive Swimming Scheme

In 2019 it was decided to postpone the Intensive Swimming Scheme due to the continuing poor air quality as a result of the bushfires. The Intensive Swimming Scheme will now take place in Term 1 of 2020.

Our Intensive swimming program commences on Tuesday 3 March 2020 and runs for nine days. The last day for swimming will be Friday 13 March 2020.

Students in Years 3 to 6 who paid last year have secured a spot in the program for this year and the program is now being opened up to students in Year 2 in 2020.

The program caters to students who are non-swimmers or cannot swim a distance of 25 metres (half the Olympic sized pool). Competent swimmers will not be allowed to attend.

The cost for the program is $33.30. This payment needs to be sent to the school office in an envelope with your child’s name and class on the front. Students do not pay on a daily basis. The pool is not accepting Fitness passes or pool tickets as payment for this activity.

If you would like your child to participate in the program please complete the form below and return the form with the money to the school office by Monday 24 February 2020. No permission notes or money will be accepted after this date.
